At Peak Physiotherapy you will receive the best possible care and treatment available. Each physiotherapist has a wide range of expertise, extensive training and experience so they can provide you with the best available treatment. Our receptionist will guide you to the most appropriate therapist at the most suitable time.  Our physiotherapists have worked with Elite Sports Teams and players, with local sports enthusiasts and people with non sports related aches and pains.



Andrew Kokinos
(B.Physio (Hons), APA Sports Physiotherapist) APAM

Andrew graduated from Melbourne University in 1996 and has since worked in a variety of different areas, including hospitals, private practices and with local and elite sporting teams. Andrew was the full time physiotherapist and fitness trainer for the Indian Cricket Team and he has also worked with the North Melbourne Football Club (AFL), Carlton Soccer Club (former NSL) and the Indian Hockey team during the 1999 Commonwealth Games.

Andrew has also completed a rigorous examination process and is now a titled Australian Physiotherapy Association Sports physiotherapist, a reserved title for those who have excelled in sports physiotherapy practice. Andrew’s major interests lie in sports and spinal injuries, in particular injuries to the hips, knees and ankles. Andrew is a very active sportsman himself and promotes active recovery and client education in his treatment of injuries.  Click on the link to hear Andrew speaking on SEN radio about cricket injuries.

John Pompei

(B.App.Sc (HM), M.Physio St.) APAM

John has been at Peak Physiotherapy since February 2008. After completing an undergraduate degree in Human Movement at RMIT in 2003, he pursued his physiotherapy qualification in Brisbane where he was awarded a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in 2005. This academic combination has since given John excellent physiotherapy and exercise prescription skills for all types of patients. He is a very hands-on therapist and believes in empowering patients with appropriate injury education as part of their rehabilitation. John was a member of the medical team for the 2008 Homeless World Cup in Melbourne and has travelled with a representative basketball team to China in 2011 and as part of the AIS’ medical team at their European Training Centre in Italy in 2013. 

He was team physio for the gold medal winning U18 Victorian Men's Basketball Team for the 2016 National Junior Championships in Adelaide and will be heading to the Gold Coast in April 2018 as part of the team of medical volunteers working at the Commonwealth Games. Previous team involvements include being the Head Physiotherapist for the Melbourne Tigers during their 2011/12 NBL season and Werribee Tigers (VFL) for their 2016 and 2016 seasons. 

John has recently completed his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University and is now a titled Sports Physiotherapist.

Bayden Campbell 

B.Ex.Sc. Doctor of Physiotherapy. APAM

Bayden graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne having previously completed his Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Tasmania in 2012. He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, and is currently the head physiotherapist at Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club in the VAFA. As part of his studies, Bayden was fortunate enough to complete an overseas physiotherapy placement in a specialist Sports and Spinal clinic in America, where he gained valuable skills and knowledge treating individuals with lower back pain, neurological conditions, post-surgical patients, as well as college athletes.

Whilst completing his studies, Bayden also worked in the fitness industry as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, as well as a personal trainer, where he found he had an interest in exercise based rehabilitation, and injury prevention and management. Outside of physiotherapy, Bayden enjoys being outdoors, going to the gym, cycling and practicing tae kwondo.

Nathalie is our full time receptionist and available to help with appointments and answer questions. Nathalie joined us after 17 years in customer service with QANTAS frequent flyer and was previously a patient also!!
