Ben Janson
B.App.Sc. B.Physio. M.Physio. APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist
Ben graduated from LaTrobe University in 2006 and has worked extensively in private practice and sports ever since. He later completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy to become an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist and currently works full time at the Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL. Prior to working in elite sport, Ben has also held positions in the VAFA, VFL and for Tennis Australia, experience that allows comprehensive management for any level of athlete.
Ben consults with Peak 1 night a week. He specialises in lower limb tendinopathy, post-surgical rehabilitation, knees, hip/groin conditions and has a special interest in managing the troublesome and persistent hamstring. Ben has a strong emphasis on developing strength and conditioning programs, an essential requirement to allow every level of patient to achieve their goals. Ben is also skilled at Dry needling and often uses running analysis as part of this rehabilitation.
